John E. LeBlanc, Chief Judge of the 17th Judicial District Court says, “For years I searched for a way to make our court more efficient in case processing.  aiSmartBench has provided this transformation.  This dashboard technology puts my entire docket at my fingertips without having to manipulate the physical paper filings of the Clerk’s office.  The staff is happy because they no longer have to pull records and transport them back and forth.  Other court personnel are happy because they are not being interrupted by my desire/need for more information. My fellow judges are anxiously waiting for Phase 2 of this implementation so that they too can take advantage of the speed and efficiency to adjudicate their cases.

“aiSmartBench is built on the powerful Mentis technology platform,” says Leo LaCascia, Founder and President of Mentis Technology Solutions.  “Mentis is excited to see aiSmartBench so enthusiastically embraced by Judge LeBlanc in validating the efficiencies that are possible with an electronic bench. We appreciate the vision and foresight of the Louisiana Supreme Court in sponsoring this initiative. We believe Lafourche is pioneering a path for the rest of Louisiana Courts to become more effective and efficient.
